I've been enjoying the email service from fastmail.fm. While the User-Interface isn't slick by any means, their email service is blazing fast!

I've since relocated the email for several of my domains to fastmail.fm and I haven't looked back since. Check it out by clicking on my referral URL: http://www.fastmail.fm/?STKI=5... . If you sign up, then I can afford 1/2 a cup of coffee! It's a win-win! :)

Re: A Multiple-Flags Strategy for Your Email Accounts

Hi Jim,

I've been very satisfied with Netfirms.com. I've used their service for a few of my other websites (from 2000-2005, 2011 and onwards) and I've had no issues so far.

An added bonus is that they provide Private Registration services for free. I believe a recent promotion code of promo495, where you can register a domain name for $4.95 USD, is still valid.

Good luck!

Re: How to save hours of frustration when working SAP Application Process Designer (APD)

Simple and direct to the point ...Good Blog

Re: How To Initialize Delta DTP in BW 7.x

This post helped me. So this tip will be helpful only when the associated program for the tcode is a report program. Do you have any tips for other casses, i tried to check for SE14 but the associated program was a module pool, so I was not able to execute it. Can you please let me know if there a way around for these kinds of tcodes.

Best Regards,
Partha

Re: SAP Security Tip: How To Quickly Find Existing Roles

If you know the role naming convention then you also find the roles in Transaction SUIM. As for me, I still find Neomailbox.net to be clunky but it works for now. One of my mail concerns is email privacy, so I may continue to use a combination of Yahoo (for general use), Gmail (for business use), and Neomailbox (for personal use).

Let me know how your service is working for you in a few months!

Hau

Re: Leaving Yahoo Mail Plus

Hello again,

Thank you so much for your response. Well, I have not moved to Neomailbox.net only to experience more comfortability or usability. I was also looking for the more secure provider + the more professional domain name. I am still evaluating Neomailbox and making a research on them. I am not fond of their webmail, but Horde's interface is just fine (it's more than fine actually). I enquired the support staff about auto-forwarding option and they have responded this morning. They said I could provide them with an email address that I would like to forward my emails to... And this way I could have my incoming emails backed up... Anyway, if you know any Neomailbox alternatives, just let me know... Do you have any ideas about Luxsci?

Re: Leaving Yahoo Mail Plus

As for the backup issue, I would use a mail client to backup your stuff from Yahoo. Thunderbird is a good one.

You don't want to import it into neomailbox.net because they don't give you a lot of space. In fact, I've grown to love the new Yahoo user interface on my iPad. It's really slick.

I've been moving my accounts over to neomailbox.net for the added security because I am concerned that my accounts may be compromised with such a high profile provider.

So far, neomailbox.net is good enough. The interface is a little clunky and the search feature is almost useless. Once I move my mail from the inbox into subfolders, then I can't find those messages via the search feature. Go figure, right?

Let me know how it goes for you. :)

Re: Leaving Yahoo Mail Plus

I just wonder how you are getting around your new neomailbox.net service. The issue was because for every entry in R/3 it pulled in around 32 records in BW which later gets consolidated.
The 32 records are due to debit and credit entries and 16 period(which are as columns in R/3).
Thanks,
Kumar

Re: How To Group Records in a Data Package (DTP) in SAP Netweaver BW (BI)

Hi Kumar,

This may be an issue with your extractor or customer user-exit program. Does the 10 million records consolidate into 1 million record during the activation process in the DSO?

Also, try to perform a manual, full-load for a small set of records via RSA3 or verify that they are unique in the PSA. It sounds like you have a LOOP statement that is duplicating your records.

Re: How To Group Records in a Data Package (DTP) in SAP Netweaver BW (BI)

Hi Hau,

We are facing a problem with FI_GL_10. Each DTP will have settings, such as the number of concurrent packages and the size of each package, that you can adjust and fine-tune for your particular datasource.

You can read more about DTP Performance Optimization here: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw...

In additional, I have read an article where the existence of a Start Routine in your transformation will have a negative effect on DTP performance due to the system's inability to optimize the selection from your source fields. Currently, I do not have a link to that article but I update this comment when possible.

Good luck!
